Description
This blue vapour barrier boot is designed for Halo new construction and remodel insulated ceiling (IC) rated housings. This boot creates an airtight seal around IC rated housing maintaining the integrity of the ceiling vapour barrier. This is a requirement by most building codes. The use of this product will prevent airflow between living spaces and unconditioned areas, improving comfort while reducing energy losses. It is designed for 16-inch or 24-inch beam centres. It is suitable for use in dry areas and is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
