Is this a 3-piece or 1-piece? And what is the thickness of the walls/panels?
Hi, thank you for your question. This easy to install unit is a 5 piece kit (2 shelve units and 3 wall panels. The acrylic is 2mm thick. Total thermoformed thickness is 5mm.

How it is installed? On studs or drywall? Where can I find the manual?
Hi, Thank you for your question. This unit is installed on Drywall or plywood. Recommended adhesive is Lepage’s No-More-Nail Tub surround adhesive. The Instalation manual is here: https://www.technoform.ca/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/installation-guide-appliques.pdf

What difference does it make which side the drain is on?

Good quality for the money.
It was fairly easy to install and is good quality however the product description of it being for a left or right drain is inaccurate. It can be installed on either side drain. That should be updated on the product site. The only other complaint I have is that one of my shelf pieces had a flaw in the acrylic finish. It was bubbled up.
