Misleading
This door is NOT hardwood as described, it is MDF. It is also unpaintable. I bought this door with the intention of painting it, and it cannot be painted, even after 2 coats of primer. It is solid and heavy duty, but be aware, the description is not truthful.

Really like this door
We bought this when we renovated our small ensuite bathroom, the previous door of which took up most of the space in the room. This door is easy to put together and is super-elegant with the chevron patterning. The door-hanging kit went together well, too, and the whole thing looks fabulous.

Beautiful door but problematic installation
One of the reasons I decided to purchase this is because it was advertised as easy to install. I had contacted the manufacturer to see how much the door weighed and whether it would require a bolster. They told me it was 66 lbs and that it could be installed into the studs or with a header. My husband and daughter assembled everything and located the studs in the wall. Problem is that the rail holes were not spaced correctly for the (standard) spacing of the studs and so we contacted a carpenter friend to help with the installation. He drilled holes in the rail so that it could be installed on the existing studs. I am pleased with the end result but disappointed that it took such action to complete the installation. The door looks beautiful and I am pleased with how our friend was able to modify it to function correctly.
