Great for top shelf, but not with Hang Track
The 12" (i.e. short) shelf track standard is great for adding top shelves in closets. However it has only two pre-drilled holes. If used with Hang Track horizontal bar, using its top hole would require boring through the Hang Track metal, or using only the bottom hole. Solution - attaching the 12" shelf track standard with two screws directly to wall studs. Just use the level tool make sure all wall standards for the same shelf are aligned (what the Hang Track horizontal bar would have achieved).
