Description

Unusual fasteners
I needed these replacement brackets to re-assemble our linen closet after temporarily using it as a clothes closet. The original brackets had gone missing. I did not use the wall plugs and included "nails". I chose to use plugs and screws from my stash of hardware bits and bobs. The included plugs did not have much texture or ridges to help them stay in the drywall. Further, the anticipated screws were more like a fat nail. I have used different types of plugs and screws, but I had never encountered this newer type of fastener. I was confident of the "old" technology but wary of collapse with the new, so I chose what I new would work for me. I would love to hear from anyone who experienced using the new version.
