This Char-Broil natural gas BBQ has a //420 square inches primary cooking area with porcelain cast-iron grates. Its 13,000 BTU side burner allows you to quickly sear meats. Awesome
I've had tru infrared for at least 10 years and its the best bbq ever used. No flare ups and cook evenly at high or low temps. I was able to replaced the heat plate couple of years ago, bought direct from Charbroil and still works great!

I enjoy my bbq except the lighter stopped working and to light it u have to pull it all apart and lift the tray below the grills to light it with a bbq lighter it's dangerous

Great replacement grill
This is a replacement for a grill I have had for years. This unit has been even better than I anticipated and has done everything better that my old grill did and was much more economical. I made a perfect choice purchasing this unit.. You should too.....

Never knew Grillin' could be sooo Easy.
Bought this Grill 3 months ago and had the opportunity to grill steaks, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, and of course brats. I was intrigued that it had an extra set of stainless "emitter" grates between the burner heat diffusers and main cast iron grates that was supposed to make this an "infrared" grill that heats evenly and makes the food cook juicier. After years of charcoal I was ready to take the plunge.
To my pleasant surprise the claims were TRUE! I was easily able to maintain desired temp and the food turned out GREAT. The main meats like steaks, burgers and chicken work well on the main grates, while I actually cook the dogs and brats on the "warming rack".
Does help to give the grates and emitters a light shot of Pam before each use to make it easier to clean. I do use a nylon brush for the cast iron grates and the supplied scrapper (hangs inside the right door) to clean the emitters. The only down side is it does take a little extra time to clean this grill because the extra emitters -- but man it is WELL worth it -- the food cooks fast and really nice and juicy!
I'm a happy camper and the wife is too since I cook more.
