Description
Install these Hampton ceiling tiles to help create plush, quiet rooms. These tiles feature sound-absorption technology that helps minimize interior sound from travelling out of the room and exterior sound from getting in. The Hampton mineral fibre ceiling tiles come in a bright, slightly textured design that complements different colour schemes, and their reveal 3-D edges add a decorative feature. Ceilings look neat for a long time, thanks to the sag- and mould-resistant construction. Hampton CertainTeed ceiling tiles have 33% recycled content. Each ceiling tile measures 4 square feet and is 5/8 inch thick. Each box holds 16 tiles, which cover 64 square feet. The tiles are backed by a 10-year warranty.

Can you use these tiles in a basement bathroom with a shower. The ceiling in the shower area is just under 7ft. Ceiling exhaust fan 18" away.

Good product poor price.
I bought these to replace some I had bought earlier and that had got damaged.
Product excellent, price twice as much as the original ones .

Nice result, lots of work to pick the good tiles
I bought 10 boxes of this product. Given the edges, it's very easy to render a tile unusable. Each box had at least one tile with broken edges, so it was unusable in the middle of a room. In total, I had a full box of 16 broken tiles. I don't know whether this was because the packaging for the tiles didn't protect them any more than it did for ordinary tiles without edges. Or perhaps they were damaged in transit from warehouse to store? I know that during the pickup, the employee who put them in my truck didn't handle them with much care. I didn't say anything at the time because I was under the impression that the packing would have been done in view of the fragility of the tiles.
I was supposed to use these tiles for my entire basement unit. After finishing the living room and kitchen, I decided to use different tiles for the bathroom Instead of buying 2 extra boxes of this product. I kept the reminaing 10 tiles of this product for replacement if necessary.
I do not recommend the purchase of this product. If you buy it, inspect the boxes before accepting delivery. Be aware that any tile in the box may be damaged.
