Absolutely amazing!

Excellent Chainsaw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This battery operated chainsaw in super powerful. It cuts through everything like butter. It makes light work of downed trees, cutting firewood or anything of that nature. I really like that it comes with tool-less chain tensioning. That makes it really easy to correct the chain while you’re working. I also like that it has auto chain oiler. Again, this makes operating the chainsaw very easy while you’re working. The battery is incredibly powerful. It is 60v and the charge lasts a long time. It comes with its own charger for this powerful battery. There is some assembly required to get the chainsaw started, but the instructions are very clear, and it is not difficult to do. It has an 18 inch blade on it. It also has various safety features to make operation safer. I really appreciate that. With such a sharp blade and powerful battery, you can’t go wrong with this cordless chainsaw, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Small but mighty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with how well this chain saw worked on a huge white oak tree in my yard. I wasn’t sure how the battery powered chain saw would work on large trees but it actually was great! It cut through a huge tree and the battery actually lasts a long time! I love how since it is battery powered it is so much more quiet than your traditional chain saw! We find ourselves using this chain saw more than our gas powered one!

Was great until it wasn't
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Avid outdoorsman. I was thrilled about getting this battery operated 18" chainsaw from CAT. We got it charged and put together. The instructions photos were not very clear and how to get the bar and chain attached. We are familiar with chainsaws and got it figured out easily but this might be a challenge for some. We got the bar oil in and went to cutting! We worked on cutting up on wood pile for about 30 minutes and everything went well. Major complaint would be it just doesn't seem like you can ever get the bar completely tight. It still had a wiggle side to side despite being together right and tight. Following week we went elk hunting up in the mountains (main reason I was excited for this and not having to haul gas for it with me). Middle of no where its nice to be able to cut up some fire wood. Started cutting up wood and it completely stopped. Just makes a clinking sound. Battery fully charged still. Took it apart and put it back together and still nothing. I got to chop wood with my hatchet for the rest of the week.
