Village piece does not light up
The last time I wrote a review Rona would not post it. I do not like this product I have a crush cause version with about this product. It is the only village piece that does not light up.. It is very disappointing for me and also for my daughter who bought me the item.

Not happy
Just brought it home. Same issues as other customer. Doesn't work on battery. Can't shut music off and only have lights.. even though the manual says you can.
Is the only dark piece in my 12 piece village.. not happy.. will call to complain ... money back please or send one that does what it says...

Very Disappointed
It either works on batteries or plugged in, so if you want to keep the countdown going you must keep it plugged in 24/7. The other option is run it full time on just the batteries until Christmas. DO NOT plug it in if the batteries are installed as it seems to fry the circuits so the battery feature no longer works at all. It DOES NOT have battery backup to keep the countdown going. It does have lights that light up but ONLY if the music is playing, its not like most other Carole Town pieces where you can have it lit up with no music playing. Also if you try to switch from no music to music with lights you must re enter the time and date to start the countdown over. Truly disappointed in this piece.
