One description says the metal frame is galvanized steel and another says the frame is aluminum. Which is it? And can this survive our severe weather storms with the harsh winds, hail and snow. In Alberta it can swing temps by 30C in a day.
Hi, this door awning is a combination of aluminum, metal and polycarbonate. The front and back profiles are made from aluminum and the support arms from galvanized steel. Can this door cover be installed on to brick and do we need extra tools to install
Yes the door cover can be installed on any type of wall. It comes with the Wall anchors and bolts necessary to install. You would just have to make sure you have a drill bit that will work for brick.

disappointed with awning size
When I first saw the awning online, it looked perfect for my entryway. However, once it was installed, I realized it was much smaller than I anticipated. It doesn't provide enough coverage from the rain, leaving parts of my door exposed. I wish the dimensions had been more clear in the description.
