Does the snow need to be remove , how much weight will it support?
Hello, the Aquila has a WIND RESISTANCE –of 120km/hr | 75ml/hr and a SNOW LOAD rating of 100kg/m² | 20.5lbs/ft². It is a good idea to brush off excess or heavy snow from it as you likely would with any outdoor awning or structure.

Are the support brackets fixed position from each end if so by how much. If not fixed then what is the tolerance the brackets can be moved towards or away from each end?
Hello, the support brackets mounted to the wall are 3'11 apart. The full width of the unit is 4'11, so there are 5" on either side that separates the panel from the support bracket. If you require further information or a schematic, please contact support@footprintproducts.com

snow collapse after first storm
The awning roof collapsed after the first heavy snowfall. It clearly can't handle the weight of the snow. I thought it was supposed to be durable and weather-resistant.

The product description said no special tools were needed, but I found myself running to the hardware store multiple times. The mechanic system wasn't as easy to use as promised, making the whole process quite frustrating.

not enough uv blocking
I chose the light canopy thinking it would be fine, but it doesn't block UV rays well. My plants underneath are getting too much sun. A darker canopy would have been better.
