Hi There, What is the maximum snow/ice load?
Snow load rating is at 31 LBS per Square Foot which is quite significant. It comes with a 3 year warranty for manufacturer defects as well. We always suggest removing snow when possible to avoid significant accumulation as you would do for any exterior product when possible. Thanks for your enquiry.

Does it have a rain gutter or does the rain drip off the end?
The Aquila 2050 has a front aluminum trim that helps direct rainwater sideways. It does not have a gutter.

what is the snow load it can handle and how thick is the plastic panel
My husband says it’s around 3/16 inches thick and can hold around 50 pounds snow easily. But we clean it after each storm. We have a smaller one for the last 10 years and still good!

snow collapse after first storm
The awning roof collapsed after the first heavy snowfall. It clearly can't handle the weight of the snow. I thought it was supposed to be durable and weather-resistant.

tools not as advertised
The product description said no special tools were needed, but I found myself running to the hardware store multiple times. The mechanic system wasn't as easy to use as promised, making the whole process quite frustrating.

inadequate sun block
The canopy's light color doesn't provide adequate protection from the sun. It gets too warm underneath, and I regret not purchasing a darker option.

not enough uv blocking
I chose the light canopy thinking it would be fine, but it doesn't block UV rays well. My plants underneath are getting too much sun. A darker canopy would have been better.

Excellent choice for a door cover.
Great looking and sturdy door cover/awning. Definitely a two person job to install but with some patience it's doable for most people.
