Is there a way to Connect multiples of this unit??
Yes. If you are looking at putting 2 together, than you can purchase the Aquila 3000 at Lowes.ca. If you are looking at adding more together than just 2 units, than you can buy the Aquila 1500 Canopy as many as you need, and then email us to purchase the Connector kits to join them all. Has anyone succeeded installing Aquila 2050 on vertical aluminum coasted siding with the vinyl siding connector that can be bought with it? Any tricks, suggestions, hints? Thanks.

snow collapse after first storm
The awning roof collapsed after the first heavy snowfall. It clearly can't handle the weight of the snow. I thought it was supposed to be durable and weather-resistant.

tools not as advertised
The product description said no special tools were needed, but I found myself running to the hardware store multiple times. The mechanic system wasn't as easy to use as promised, making the whole process quite frustrating.

inadequate sun block
The canopy's light color doesn't provide adequate protection from the sun. It gets too warm underneath, and I regret not purchasing a darker option.

not enough uv blocking
I chose the light canopy thinking it would be fine, but it doesn't block UV rays well. My plants underneath are getting too much sun. A darker canopy would have been better.

Very pleased
So far so good. My installer said it was fairly easy to put up. However, he lucked out by drilling the holes exactly the width needed without realizing it. I don't know if he didn't read the instructions fully or if the instructions omitted the fact that he had to measure (he assumed that piece was extendable). But by complete fluke, it lined up exactly and looks great. I can now sit under the canopy when it rains while supervising my dogs going potty in the backyard.
