Description
Caloritech SD Series Strip Heaters and Component Heaters are economic heating source typically used in a wide range of domains, like surface heating (platens, dies, piping); process air heating (drying cabinets, ovens); dropping resistors for line applications in railroads and load banks; winterizing (hoppers, conveyors, ducts); original equipment (air conditioning, laboratory equipment). This industrial heating product that can be controlled with a heating control panel, mechanical thermostat, or bimetal thermostats installed on its surface. The heater can be secure on the wall housing with a terminal extending from the sheath for easy electrical connections. The entire heater assembly is encased in an aluminized steel sheath and is compressed under high pressure. The sheath provides both corrosion resistance and an good appearance. Heaters can be use where the maximum sheath temperature il less than 1000 °F (538 °C). For higher temperatures, use stainless steel heaters.
