Blower fan broke
The blower fan snapped and came off its housing replacement fan is very expensive.

Short Lifespan
We had the range hood installed in late 2021. By late May 2022 the unit lost power and stopped working in entirety. The original contractor was not able to find anything obviously wrong so removed the unit. Warranty replacement has been a very long process as we are at the end of April 2022 with no replacement at this time.

This range hood does its job very well. We like having 3 light and fan settings but even the lowest light setting is quite bright. The fan definitely sucks up the smoke and steam. We had to have ductless installation so the fan blows the air right back into the room. But we were glad that it didn't need a conversion kit for an extra price to accomplish that. We had a few problems with the installation, the fault of the installer, not the Broan unit. He failed to remove the plate that allows the air to be blown back out for ductless installation. And he secured the hood so tight to the cabinets above that the cabinet doors scraped the top of the hood. The store sent another installer to remedy that. He had to place a shim in between the top of the hood and bottom of the cabinet above it so the cabinet doors now swing freely and there is space for the vented air to blow out, which is at the top of the hood and not the front.

Works great
I ordered this and the first one i received did not work, the buttons would not work. I was sent a replacement in a speedy manner and it works great. Very pleased with customer service and the vent fan.

Great Fan
Great Fan, 3 speeds, can barely hear the first speed, second a little louder, third you can hear it but it does the job! In a perfect world with perfect cabinets maybe 1 person install as long as they are young and Strong, LOL! We are older and cabinets not perfect but we got it in. We love it! Nice bright LED's really lights up the stove and counter. Three levels of brightness. There was an issue with a piece of metal that had to be removed. Had a self locking nut or something that wouldn't come out. This was a vented install. We are very happy with it, looks great too.
