Too loud and very poor lighting.
Very poor quality ! Product description states 7 sones and product specifications states 2 sones. I was hoping that it would be the 2 but no such luck. On low power it is very quiet but isn’t strong enough to even suck up steam and on high power it works well but probably too loud for most people conversing. Light would be better if there was 2 of them as the one light only lights up the back of the stove top. If the light could be angled then it could be better positioned to light up the whole stove top.

Garbage!!!
Bought this morning and installed when I got home. Fan is so noisy that the fan will never be used. Waste of money! You get what you pay for…

2 out of 2 so far have been defective
I picked one of these up on sale because I liked the look and value. Installed it as I’ve done many times in the past only for the fan blade to break apart on first use.
I thought this was weird so I returned it and got another of the same model. Again, carefully installed it only to have it sound like a plane that’s about to take off on first use.
So I guess that will have to go back too. I’ll try contacting Broan but I’m none too pleased with how this is going so far.

Nice, but don't buy unless you want to rework it
Just installed it. Looks great NOW but...the holes for mounting are in an incorrect position for 95% of the kitchen cabinets (3/4" thick ones). You will need at least a 15" length of 2X2 trim to 1 1/4" to accommodate the depth of the overhang. Then you will have to drill a new set of holes because the old holes will be right between the new pieces of wood you just mounted! So a table saw, and drill with bits are a must or forget about it.

Quality range hood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had the Broan 30-inch Under Cabinet Range Hood installed at my lake house. It looks wonderful! It replaced an old white hood, and this black Broan is much more attractive, and the design is more up-to-date. It was easy to install (especially with the 4 ducting options), and the mounting hardware was included. Like most range hoods, it is quiet on the slow speed and noisier on the high. This hood is easy to clean. I really like the dishwasher-safe filter and the LED light; the light is bright and completely lights up the cooktop. I have a Broan range hood at my main house; the brand is reputable and of high quality. I am very pleased with this product.

Great features!

Nice oven fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a real nice over fan, made with high quality materials. Looks really good and matched my oven perfectly. Very simple to install. Light is very bright making everything highly visible on top of the oven. Fan is quite and very powerful pulls steam and odors right out of the kitchen.
