Description
The BRK 120 V AC/DC photoelectric smoke and carbon monoxide alarm features voice alarm with up to 11 programmable locations. Two silence features can silence the low-battery chirp for up to 8 hours or temporarily silence an unwanted nuisance alarm. The Optipath 360 technology(TM) provides 360 ° degrees of direct access to the smoke sensor. The alarm latch remembers which unit initiated an alarm and the low battery latch identifies which unit needs a battery replacement. This device emits an end-of-life signal when the detector needs to be replaced. This product is backed by a 10-year limited warranty. Compatible with the new rules for smoke detectors in Montreal.

Mounting Plate Issue
I bought two of these alarms along with the dual-sensor smoke alarms. The mounting plate does not fit in the common North America standard 4" ceiling octagonal box. I have to use a file to make the hole larger to fit it in. First Alert should have a better QA for their products. Other than that, it works fine, and see how it goes.
