Description
120V Hardwire Alarm with a 10-year sealed battery back-up. Connection to AC power is made with a /Quick-connect/ wiring harness. It also features a dual ionization smoke sensing chamber screened for insect protection, an 85dB horn and a /silence/ feature. The /Smart Technology / system is designed to reduce nuisance alarms. Furthermore, the alarms are interconnectable with up to 18 devices, of which 12 can be smoke alarms.

Pure Garbage
These pieces of garbage never make it even half way to warranty. Both units died in 5 years, and most people in my building also replaced theirs even sooner. Mine are both beeping right now, warranty service is closed for the weekend, and no way to turn off the beeping other than pulling it out and having no alarm. These things are a joke.

Problem after 15 months
Bought Oct 2019 @ RONA Nanaimo, unit failed Jan 2020. !0 year battery tested OK. Warranty, required return to Texas for service, ecomonically just not feasible to claim warrany. So typical but still disapointing.
