Description
This Bosch 500 Series compact condensation dryer is a quality European design appliance that doesn't require ducting for operation, which makes drying your laundry easy. It features a structured stainless steel drum and circular sidewalls designed specifically to reduce vibration. In addition, built-in smart sensors prevent overheating by automatically adjusting the appropriate time and temperature settings. German Engineering? NOT! from
Absolute piece of junk
Just go on YouTube and check out the endless series of much-watched videos about how this dryer will eventually stop working.
The recurring theme is this: The dryer worked for a few minutes on any program, then inexplicably shut down.
I have tried every conceivable remedy to no avail.
This design has a fundamental flaw which is widespread and serious.
Do yourself a favour and buy something else...
BTW - first ever negative feedback that I have given for ANYTHING.
I am simply so frustrated with this piece of junk!

Buyer Beware
I made a very expensive mistake when I bought this dryer. I would give it a zero if I could. It takes FOREVER to dy clothes and it leaves them smelling like mildew. I have had this dryer about 2-3 years and the plastic cone on the back inside wall just broke off and dumped black grease all over a load of white clothes. Although I have hated the dryer since day one, I kept giving it the benefit of the doubt since I was getting used to the ventless technology, but a ruined load of clothes was the last straw. The matching washer is just as crappy. It constantly gets clogged with even the slightest amount of liquid soap and dumps bubbles all over the floor. It looks like I am stuck. I should have listened to the reviews. I warn you - DO NOT BUY THIS DRYER!

My Bosh dryer is not drying my clothes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All my appliances are Bosh and I am happy about them except this dryer. It does not dry my clothes. I tried all the cycles, added drying time and opened the door to give it ventilation. The clothes are still very damped.

Short life
After only 3 years the dryer stopped working. Apparently the pump needed to be replaced. Same thing happened with the washer. Both appliances failed at the same time. Poor quality.

Excellent dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the 500 series condensation dryer for nearly 3 years, and its performed extremely well. Some reviewers have criticized the drying speed/performance of the condensation dryers, but I haven't had that issue. In my experience its dried faster than the 27" wide, conventional, ducted dryer that it replaced. To be fair though, I suspect the ducted dryer didn't perform well because the duct in my condo is too long and has too many turns, and bad airflow. But this new ductless dryer has worked just fine. No issues with it so far.

Bosch 500 series dryer
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am very pleased to have purchased the 500 series Bosch condensation dryer. It's fits into the small laundry area in my condo perfectly. Although it is a compact condensation dryer (the first I have owned) it is a real workhorse. I do laundry daily and am honestly stunned at how the setting actually conincide with the drying time. I was completely taken aback at the filter and how it collects such fine particles. Having a dog that sheds constantly it always surprises me to see how much fur is captured. Makes me wonder where that was all going when I had a vented dryer?
In this time of inflation and increased cost I save a significant amount of money not having to have vent cleaners come in and that is a real bonus.
I would and have recommended a Bosch condensation dryer to friends.
