Replaced a Bosch dishwasher with a Bosch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As part of a kitchen remodel 13 years ago we purchased a highly-rated Bosch dishwasher, which in turn led us to select Bosch for the rest of the kitchen appliances. We were very pleased with it until it began malfunctioning and we needed a new dishwasher. We were disappointed to only get 13 years service from it but multiple salespeople told us 10 to 12 years service was average. My Mom's KitchenAid is over 30 years old and still going strong.
Starting a new dishwasher search once again revealed Bosch as highly-rated and we decided to purchase the model most similar to our previous model. Installation was a breeze and this unit is even quieter than the previous one. We are very pleased with it and hope for long, trouble-free service. If I could wish for anything in addition, it would be a thorough briefing on how to get the most utility out of the extensive features of this model.

Cleans Beautifully
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of this dishwasher, and the dishes come out very clean. My two complaints are: I can't seem to get it to dry the dishes so that I don't have to dry everything as I unload it. Also, if I leave dirty dishes in for more than 24 hours (totally rinsed) there is a very pungent smell. If anyone has any tips, do tell.

Series 500 Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement for our 21 year old Bosch diswasher which was still working great but cable broke and was unable to be fixed. Love this new one. Like all the features and very quiet. Your company makes great appliances. We consider Bosch dishwashers to be top of the line. This is the only brand that we considered.

Very Quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am really happy with my new dishwasher. The dishes are clean. It has not melted any plastic. However, some plastic glasses became frosted. I'm confused by some of the features. The filter is not locking in place and I can't get the "clean" feature to turn on or the automatic start with WiFi. These might be user errors. I do like how the door opens to help air dry the dishes.

Can’t access all features without app
As a dishwasher, this performs basic functions well (good layout and space, good cleaning and drying). However, I would not recommend this dishwasher to anyone because some of the features are only available in the app. Has I realized this before purchase, I absolutely would not have purchased it. Our dishwasher routine is that we set it off every night on delay delivery to run in the middle of the night (to spread out water usage with our sensitive septic system, and to use cheaper electricity). You cannot set the dishwasher to delay the start without the app, and my husband does not have a smartphone, so I have to be the one to start the dishwasher even though he does the dishes. Obviously, Bosch wants the data from the app, but to omit key features from the unit itself is an insane way to require app usage and I am beyond frustrated with our purchase.
