They do block the light!
These are great for blocking out the light! I was so happy that Rona sold these as they were extremely hard to find. The fabric is a bit stiff but I feel they will loosen up once they warm up from the sun this summer! I am happy with them and wishing I purchased a 3rd one! If you want to use them to block sun make they are great! They will also help keep some of the heat and noise out!
