It takes a minute to get used to it. It does shut off at max. Not sure if because of condensation or maybe max has a timer? It cools very well.

I bought this air conditioner recently to use in my bedroom. I was surprised by the small size and I worried it wouldn’t cool the intended space. It was easy to assemble and I had it up and running pretty quickly. To my surprise, it cooled the room down and kept it cold all night long.
