Can you explain how it emits sounds that effect critters etc, neighbours dogs and stray cats but is safe for pets??
All I know that my backyard is free from all the critters now. It is working perfect.

It doesn't work. Squirrels ignore it.
The unit does not worked as claimed. People hear it but not squirrels.

Not Sure if it Works
My 13 year old grandson finds the sound extremely annoying, but his dog walked up and smelled it, then ignored it. How it will work against a pesky raccoon I don’t know. How can I test it?

Conflicting descriptions
I returned the product. The description on the website says it does not affect pets. The instructions inside the box say not to use it around any leashed pets. I bought it to chase squirrels out of yard because they drive my dogs crazy in the fenced backyard. It would affect dogs that are contained in the backyard also.

Bought 2 of these, one for myself and one for my neighbor. Whe have a rabbit problem in our city. I have called & emailed the company who makes these to make sure that the correct settings are being used. Both myself and neighbor still see rabbits aprox 4 feet away from the product, there is still fresh rabbit poo everywhere. Our city yards aren't that big so we're well within 3000 sq ft. They were both returned and refunded. Good concept if it would have worked.

Purchased this item in the hopes to keep small animals out of the backyard. So far so good. I would recommend trying it out.

Undisciplined skunk.
Have carefully gone through the manual and followed instructions theroff. Regrettably, the skunk didn't read it and continued digging just in front of it. The light flushes and it does emit a high frequancy sound, so assume it is the skunk's failure. Guess need to find a more diligent skunk.
