Quality appears to be good
I bought the umbrella on line and from the photo understood that it would have come with a base...it did noll, however is was not in the box therefore could have been a display unit

Does the Job
Some UV still gets through, so can still be warm in it's shade. Color was not as red as I expected, more of a dark coral. Crank and tilt functions work well.

Cheap, damaged and wrong.
Just bought this umbrella and I can’t even use it.
When I opened the cheap packaging I noticed right away that the canopy was damaged. There is a melted spot that is ready to break open at first usage.
But the main issue is the diameter of the two poles, they are exactly the same size so that it is impossible to join them together!
How is this possible?
When I was reading the reviews, before purchasing this item, I thought that it was a mistake but I was wrong.
This umbrella is useless in this way.

Fit our needs
We’ve only had it for 2 weeks but so far it’s been a nice solid umbrella. We use it with a sturdy 50lb base (bought separately). Crank and tilt button is easy to use. No complaints so far!

Nice While It Lasted
Our first tilting Rona Patio umbrella lasted us for 6 or 7 years and the only reason we replaced it was the fabric had faded. This umbrella appeared nice but its manufacturing quality was poor. I attempted to tilt the umbrella and the metal tilt/pivot mechanism snapped in my hand rendering the umbrella useless.
