Description
This ready-to-assemble aluminum frame kit creates a unique decorative privacy wall. The frame is designed for indoor or outdoor use and is designed to hold four 2-ft x 4-ft decorative privacy panels (Sprig, Morse, Boardwalk or Sanibel) sold separately. The kit includes: 2 H-post, 2 top and bottom rails, 2 middle rails, surface mount kit, caps and hardware.

We live in a condo and are not allowed to drill into the concrete to secure these screens. Do you have any suggestions as to what we might do instead?

Can the bottom 2 sections hold horizontal wood panels? What thickness if so?
Hello, this product is made exclusively for our 2x4 decorative panels. We don't recommand to put wood in it. Thank you.

Could be great, but ...
Frame is very solid, panel inserts are very sturdy. Overall attractive but supplied hardware (screws and drill bits) is of extremely poor quality and broke several times during installation, damaging frame.

Excellent Product (minus cheap drill bit included)
An excellent product that could be even better. Easy to assemble and install. Easiest with two people but no hard with just one if you brace accordingly to help during install process. Only knock is that drill bit provided with package is of poor quality and broke midway through install process. I installed 5 frames and all the drill bits broke at same point. Must be a faulty manufacturing process. Use your own steel drill bit to to save frustration.

The frame seems to be well made and sturdy. We added Boardwalk panels for a bit more privacy. Very happy with the look of the finish product. Serves the purpose. Will purchase more when product goes on sale again.

Easy installation
We bought the barrette frame kit, frame extension kit and 6 panels (2’x4’). Our space was only 7.5 feet not 8, so we had to cut the panels and the extension kit. Cutting than panels and the kit was easy with a table saw. Installation was quick and easy. Hardest part is drilling the holes into the frame kit as the holes are not pre drilled. We broke 2 bits doing this. Overall love the look for a great price. Whole project took 3 hours to set up with half that time due to having to cut the kit and panels. Would recommend!

Not easy to put together
We bought two for our deck. While the finished product looks nice, it was extremely difficult to put together and we had a contractor helping us. Like one person noted, we broke two drill bits and the kit doesn’t include all screws required.

Rona does not sell all the parts for this item
The box for the kit and online pictures show that one could link multiple units together. But, for that you will require extra horizontal rails. You can buy these separately in the US but Rona does not stock them. Don't be mislead by the advertising and don't purchase unless your application uses single units.
