It works.
I don’t have room for a freestanding pizza oven but I do have a bbq that can hit 700 degrees F.
The problem is trying to get the pizza to cook evenly (too much heat from below and not enough on top. The Bakerstone solves that problem. The brick liner retains heat so that the pizza bakes evenly. It’s easy to use once you get the hang of rotating the pizza so that it does not over-cook at the rear of the box. Great results in under four minutes.

Doesn’t get hot enough
Pizzas take 15-20 to cook and will dry out after that long. I have a decent Webber Genesis BBQ that can get very not but doesn’t work well with this oven. The gauge barely move past the middle; not hot enough to make pizza properly.
