Description
These robust ceiling bars help reduce sound transmission through walls. They feature a steel construction with multiple pre-drilled holes in a straight line for easy installation. Galvanized steel bars are super durable, namely due to their resistance to rust and corrosion. Wall resilient bars minimize the amount of sound that travels across rooms. They are ideal for buildings with multiple units and partitioned offices. These sound resilient bars meet ASTM standards for strength and safety. They measure 12 feet long x 1 3/8 inches wide.

- This steel channel is intelligently designed to substantially reduce sound transmission through walls
- Innovative slots punched into the metal web provide resiliency, reducing sound transmission through the steel

Bailey metal products sucks
i bought some ceiling bar for my garage and it was the worst of quality! For a bunch of guys who work down the road from rona, you'd think they would have their stuff together, guess not. These guys put out some of the worst quality products i have ever seen. I suggest not going with bailey metals. Head over to their location off 39th ave and let them know how you feel with their horrible quality control.

Good for behind Hardy concrete board.
Bought it to bridge the gap between studs and the hardy board, did the job well.
