Is it 8 feet from floor to the first layer of 2 x 6s on the sides? Or are those below 8 feet?
Hi.i am wondering how to install the foundation part of the pergola. I have a gravel driveway and I wanted to use the pergola to cover my car..debris falls from a overhead tree from time to time..ty.

Well engineered. Everything lined up perfectly.
Went up quickly. It was nice having extra hardware. The only suggestion would be is to make the barrel nuts a 1/4" longer.

Great pergola
My husband put this together in 2 days. Although very sturdy it is not solid cedar. With that being said it was delivered with no damaged pieces and is very sturdy!

Easy to assemble and beautiful Pergola! We love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Pergola a few months ago and we love it. Delivery was great! Assembly was fairly easy with 3 of us (took about 5 hours). We did not use the top layer of wood because we used polycarbonate roofing panels to provide protection during the rain. We also added outdoor curtains from Amazon to provide an additional touch. The pergola feels like it's great material. Overall we very happy with the product. Thanks!

Very strong and sturdy!

It only took a few hours to put it together. All pieces/parts were included. Waiting on outdoor furniture to arrive and will add lights soon. If you’re on the fence about this purchase, I highly recommend!
