This compact, powerful and quiet fan is designed for a 6-inch duct diameter and is ideally suited for either supply or exhaust ventilation systems. The fan and motor are precisely balanced for a quiet and vibration-free operation.

Moves a lot of air
I purchased this inline duct fan to resolve heating/cooling issues in our master bedroom above the garage. I installed the fan on 5” duct work and used 2 feet of insulated noise reducing flexible ducting. Only place to install the fan was about 3 feet from the take off duct at the furnace, where the fan has to move it about 20 feet to the bedroom register. Atmosphere website has full specs for the product which I used heavily to research my purchase. The 10 year warranty also moved me to this purchase as well. Solved our heating and cooling issue and moves a lot of air. Very low noise from the unit it self. No vibrations from the unit - I did place neoprene on the mounting bracket as a precaution. Only noise is a massive increase in air flow to the bedroom. I also installed atmosphere’s varispeed triac switch, since I needed to turn the fan to low-Med because it works too good. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.
