My father asked me to assemble this for him. Not much of a fun weekend project.
First, panels where dirty in the box. There was grassy fingers prints on them. Some where already bent, some scratched.
The EZ snap system simply does not work. While you snap a side, the other side unsnap all by itself. It becomes very frustrating after a couple of hours trying to keep everything snapped while trying to align and insert them in rails.
The screws holding roof panels to the top H-Beam are at an impossible angle to access. Instructions suggest to use a long manual screwdriver for this step. Even so, it is not easy to torque them properly (see assembly instructions, page 43, there is no access holes in the H-Beam). There is no adjusment to ensure the doors align properly. Once assembled, the doors would not close in my case. I had to use cedar shim to align it.
Panels are so thin, they bend just looking at them. I don't think this shed will survive its first Canadian winter. The roof cannot withstand any snow gathering, in my opinion.
It took 2 days to assemble. I don't see the point of this product. A self-made wood shed is a bit longer to put together but it is more fun to do than to cursing about the EZE unsnap system. The extra work required result in shed a lot thougher at the end.
