Is there some kind of floor or bottom to this shed? Is the floor just open to the ground? What exactly is the referred to "foundation"?

Thank you for your question. These sheds do not include a floor because of all the possibilities available. If you are building a solid wooden or concrete platform, that can be used as a floor on its own. If installing your shed on level ground, we do offer a Floor Frame Kit that will provide support for a plywood floor.
