Good mower, not awesome support from Rona.
The mower is fine and works well, however, it did come with a broken cup holder and no English owner's manual, it also needs to have the steering adjusted. It is too bad that it does not come with a hitch for the raking trailer, have to buy that after-market.

Crap
I bought the 2021 edition , nothing but a big piece of you know what.
Cheap cheap cheap and good luck finding parts.
Blew through 4 belts and two idler pulleys.

has some design flaws
just took delivery and havent cut with it yet. but at 1st glance, the handles were not aligned. one hanle is an inch further forward than the other. the adjustment on these is easy, but terrible at the same time. they have easy to use hand knobs, but also have tooth shaped notches. i move the one handle back one notch, and instead of it being an inch further forward than the other handle, its now an inch behind the other handle. the armrest are useless. alot of people like to tighten them in a further upward position to rest their elbows on while they just use their wrists to steer. these armrest sit too low to even use at all and they are not adjustable. lastly, it does not track straight unless one handle is pushed further than the other. i havent even cut with it yet, and im already thinking about sending it back

Great entry level mower
Was very hesitant to buy a new mower due to how much more expensive they are these days. I will say after it's first use though, this mower is leaps and bounds better than an entry level mower of years ago. There are very little gimmicks and most of the money you spend seems to go towards simply making a good mower. It's simple and well thought out, maintenance looks to be very easy for the end user to do, and the new 2023 model seat is extremely comfortable, especially for a simple spring dampened seat. Added a mulch kit with the factory blades and mulched large piles of damp leaves with minimal bogging at 1/2-3/4 throttle. It mows quick and leaves a nice, even cut. Every bit of the money you pay for this mower goes towards the things you need and none of the things you don't. I believe that in this price point it's one of the best buys you can make.

First time review Ikon 52
I had a competitor zero turn before buying the IKON 52. The other zero turn had an articulating or moveable front end with front wheels following the landscape. Traction was not an issue and all 4 wheels stayed on the lawn and my landscape is all about bumps and hills. The engineers for Ariens dropped the ball on their creation and never tested their zero turn on real world lawn care. I have 4 acres of lawn to cut and its not flat! With all 4 corners of the zero turn being fixed points, there is no give and traction is lost at some point. The zero turn is not balanced as one wheel spins and not moving either left or right. I am not happy with this purchase at all and would not recomend it to anybody. I really can't say anything about the cutting or craftmanship of the unit but I seriously think they should try the mowers before selling them.I bought Ariens zero turn because I have a snowblower from them and can't say anything negative about it. It is a bullet proof machine. Throws snow like no other units out there. Seriously thinking of cutting my loss and getting my old one back. I was contemplating on buying front wheels with springs, but they don't offer them either. Very frustrated to say the least.

Belt Issues
2.8 hours on my Ikon 52 and broke the deck belt. Pretty disappointed with how quickly it failed especially for a 4K dollar machine.

Great Machine
I purchased an IKON 52 in. to replace my current riding lawn mower. Definitely made the wrong choice at that time, this machine is a lot more efficient than the riding lawn mower. takes me way less time to cut my sandy 2 acre property. I also cut down a heavy brush property with no issues at all. took down 3 feet grass and brush like nothing. Highly recommend this machine. Love the warranty on it as well.
