Garbage spindles on mower deck.
We are on machine #2 and one year in. Now, machine #1 came home and had a seized spindle on the mower deck. Couldn't even cut the first blade of grass.... Thankfully the store (Lowe's at the time before Rona bought them) did a full exchange on the machine. So #2... One year in and guess what - another spindle seized. Checked the deck and one spindle fully seized, and one nearly there. Can you get parts? Nope! Can you get service when you need to mow your lawn - nope - gotta wait at least two weeks locally for anyone to even look at it, then to wait for the part for God know how long as it's on backorder - no wonder when it's such garbage... The warranty is useless if you can't get the machine fixed. Likely going third party part just so I can mow my lawn...
The rest of the machine has been good and it runs and cuts nice, but the stupid spindle needs to be functional for it to work...

Terrible!!
We love buying American made but this mower has completely fallen apart in less than 3 years!! Our deck literally fell off!!! I literally had a cheap riding mower that lasted over 15 years and yet this one couldn’t even make it 5! I personally feel like stuff used to last longer back in the day and now they try to “improve” things and they only become crappy!!

Have had this mower for 2 years now and have had to put on at least 6 deck belts let the dealer do the first one and they did nothing to fix the problem and it took calling Ariens to get the mower back after three weeks the mower does cut nice when you can keep the deck belt on.

Bought this zero turn summer 2022. What a difference, I used to take 3 1/2 hours to cut 3 1/2 acres. Now it takes me 1 1/2 hours!. Strong engine, wide stance, comfortable ride, easy to maneuver, did I mention fast!

First riding mower I’ve owned, bought it to help with 3 acres. Have a lot of trees, stones, other obstacles but also a lot of open land. Have loved using this so far - it’s wide enough to let me knock out a big chunk quickly while I can still maneuver in a lot of tight spots. Easy to use, and a joy to use.
