Solid and powerful
Easy to assemble if you follow a video instead of the instructions.
The 30 inch might be a lot to move for a less powerful and handsome individual.
Self-propel works well, but it is still a big machine.
Blew right through the hard stuff that the plow piles up at the end of the driveway.
It is large, so you need storage space.
Recommend the cover, trufuel ethanol free fuel, and non stick snow spray.

I live in NW Iowa and this area of IA has more snow the winter of 2022/2023 than we have had in a long time. I purchased this blower in early January. It is now early March and I have had the opportunity to use this new blower quite a few times this winter. I am impressed with this blower! I have owned several brands over the years, this is the best built snow blower I have ever owned. This unit has lots of power. My last blower was a 30" cut (another brand) had the triggers you pull to disengage a wheel and allow it to turn. I am impressed with the Auto-Turn feature, much easier to handle. I am also impressed with the distance this blower will throw snow. Wow! Excellent power as well. This last storm left a LONG drift down my sidewalk in front of my house. The drift was just as deep as the intake of the blower. It handled the deep long drift quite easily. The blower also handles the pile the plow leaves at the end of the driveway very easily. Love the steel discharge shoot and the ease in movement and ease to adjust the throw height! Great Blower all around!

Bought this last year to maintain my 250yd long driveway and another short steep driveway to a cabin. This machine has been without flaw! We got dumped on here in Alaska last year and we already over 50% of our average yearly snowfall fall and its only November. No worries for this snowblower though, it powers though the deep stuff and throws it a good distance. Worth every penny!

I have the Deluxe 30 EFI bought this year 2021. 3 snows in and this Machine is awesome. 1 pull start every time so far. First snow was 3 inches 2nd was about 4 inches…Today’s snow was 10 inches overnight. This thing blew the snow where I wanted and then some. Handled the snow plow left overs at the end of driveway. I live on a dead end road and the city plow leaves a pile at the end of my driveway. Snow was above my front end and it moved it with ease. I could not be happier with this machine. Heated handles are like heated steering wheel in truck… once you have them you can’t live without. Did 3 driveways on one tank of gas. Highly recommend this machine!

DO NOT BUY. There's a core design flaw with drive belt pulley, that causes drive belt to come off frequently and snowblower won't drive
I used this snowblower one season about 5 or 6 times. Then during the second winter season using the snowblower, I have had continual problems with the drive belt coming off the drive belt pulley, which results in the snowblower not driving or moving. There is a core engineering design flaw with how the drive belt pulley is improperly positioned at an angle. This design flaw causes the the drive pulley to continuously pull the drive belt at an angle until the belt eventually pops off of the pulley. Once this happens, the snowblower will no longer drive or move. I think ARIENS should stand behind their product and this clear engineering design flaw and offer customers a refund due to this core design flaw issue.

I am very pleased with my Deluxe 30 which gets more than...
I live in the North Country of New York and receive wet heavy snow from time to time. In the past season my Ariens' was able to remove 4 nor'easter type storms with no problem. The deluxe had ample horse power to clear heavy snow at an appropriate speed and cut through the giant crud piles at the end of my drive way left behind by the snow plows with no problem. The machine is balanced well and made solid. The tires provide ample traction on my drive way which has a incline. Minor areas of concern for the engineers: 1. The zero turn clutch handle takes a bit to get the hang of and is not a smooth as I would like. 2. A little more speed in reverse would go a long way in making this the perfect machine. I look forward to demolishing more snow next season with my deluxe.
