Description
Rigid insulation panel. 1/2 in. x 48 in. x 96 in. Aluminum on both sides.
- Lightweight: easy to handle, can be cut with a utility knife or saw
- High Energy Efficiency: Polyiso has the highest R-value per inch of any rigid board insulation
- Low Permeability: Ideal for controlling condensation in walls
- Can be used in residential construction as insulated sheathing in above grade exterior walls, above and below grade interior walls, crawl spaces, attic, garage doors, and cathedral ceilings as well as Type I-IV commercial applications
- One side has a reflective foil face typically installed toward the warm air surface to reflect energy back toward the dwelling and the other side has a white non-reflective foil face typically installed toward the interior
- Does not melt when exposed to flame versus other types of rigid foam board (ASTM E84)
- When properly installed, AP Foil-Faced Polyiso Continuous Insulation functions as a water-resistive barrier, vapor barrier and air barrier, eliminating the need to install additional components
- Produced with an EPA-compliant hydrocarbon-based blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and virtually no Global Warming Potential (GWP)
- Meets both CFC- and HCFC-free specification requirements
