Description
Rigid insulation panel. Aluminum on both sides. Also available in 1/2-in thick and 3/4-in thick.
- Can be used in residential construction as insulated sheathing in above grade exterior walls, above and below grade interior walls, crawl spaces, attic, and cathedral ceilings as well as Type I-IV commercial applications
- One side has a reflective foil face typically installed toward the warm air surface to reflect energy back toward the dwelling and the other side has a white non-reflective foil face typically installed toward the interior
- PolyIso has the highest R-value per inch of any rigid board insulation
- Does not melt when exposed to flame versus other types of rigid foam board (ASTM E84)
- The low permeability of foil facing coupled with polyisocynurate's high thermal performance make it ideal for controlling condensation in walls

- When properly installed, AP Foil-Faced Polyiso Continuous Insulation functions as a water-resistive barrier, vapor barrier and air barrier, eliminating the need to install additional components
- Produced with an EPA-compliant hydrocarbon-based blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and virtually no Global Warming Potential (GWP)
- Meets both CFC- and HCFC-free specification requirements
