It works but you have to supply bottom hook and the water in the moat only lasts a couple days . other than that its nice to keep Ants at bay !

Good design and functions well.
I would buy and recommend it to others. My only complaint is that the “S” hook is very rigid so I cannot use it on heavier hangers.

Ant Moat...
Excellent trap for ants that keep getting into your Hummingbird feeders. Just top off with water and keep these pest from traveling down the hook of your feeder and getting into the feeder...

Swinging and sloshing.
I should have known better but needed some new moats so bought these. I have some other moats where the top hook is fixed so it makes swapping out and cleaning feeders and moats much easier. With the top hook floating around and trying to swap them or what not becomes a hassle. If you are hanging it all in on shot with the feeder dangling below that makes it a bit easier but really there’s too much movement and water gets dump. You can’t hang the moat and walk away without the weight of the feeder. I’ve been spoiled by the style I have had previously with the fixed rigid top hook. Much easier and more practical than these. Fix that top hook and we’ll be golden!!!
