I bought this a few weeks ago thinking it would easily replace the old style timer I had for the living room lamp. Unfortunately, that has not proved to be the case. I really struggled to get it programed - I thought the process would be totally a breeze but I did not find it that way. Eventually I got it working with the lamp going on and off as scheduled. That lasted for about 4 days and then it quit working. I thought maybe the light was burned out but that was not the case. I could turn the light on and off with my phone but that is not what I wanted the plug for. I wanted it to do it daily on a pre-set schedule. I keep thinking that I need to try sometime more but just have not had the desire to do so it seems. I do not usually find electronic things an issue but this one seems to be beyond me. My next step will be to delete the existing bluetooth connection and then re-start. It was just so not easy the last time, I guess I am procrastinating trying it again.
