Description
This 600-watt, 120-volt, wall-mounted panel heater includes a programmable plug-in thermostat and is safe, economical to use and works based on the principle of convective heat transfer. This panel is mounted on the wall to create a convection channel using the hardware provided and requires a simple do-it-yourself installation. The hot air rises and gets displaced by cooler air creating convective air currents within the room that gradually move warmer air to achieve a uniform ambient temperature. The Amaze Heater does not have a built-in fan; therefore, there is no noise and no stirred-up dust. This eliminates airborne dust problems and it is ideal for people suffering from asthma or allergies. This heater is ideal for a regular-size room up to (250 sq. ft.). This unit is perfect not only to provide additional heat but also to warm up any cold spots in the house. It can be painted with latex paint to match any decor.

The strong chemical smell never disappear
Product Description and some reviews say the chemical smell will dissipate after a while... I bought this 5 months ago, and left 18 days at my garage just plugged in for full strength. First day, you can't even step into the garage because of the awful smell... After about 3 days, it is noticeably better with good air circulation, but left in the garage for another 15 days. Then I installed this for basement supplement heater. It does generate nice heat and doesn't make any noise at all, YET the CHEMICAL SMELL DOES NOT GO AWAY even after 5 months now... The manufacturer says it will gradually go away, BUT IT DOES NOT! I have installed 400W version in each bedroom in the basement, if you sleep in the bedroom with door closed... you will get strong headache next day. I do not know what this is made of what kind of chemical it used, but given this is still smelly after almost half a year, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT for anyone unless your nose cannot smell anything...

Good product
This is good as it is space saving and light weight. I have this mounted on my garage and it is serving it purpose of keeping the garage warm. I had an initial issue with the thermostat as it was manufactured wrong but Lowe’s was able to get it replaced. I like that I can set a temperature and it will come on and shut off on its own. I haven’t set it on a high temperature yet to see how it performs. Overall satisfied with it at this point. I do wish that this was stocked in store so it would have made the exchange for the defective thermostat easier.
