Poor quality finish
Unfortunately our chairs arrived wth what appears to be an oxidizing and failing stain. Lowes customer service referred the problem to the third party vendor. The vendor suggested “wiping them” It doesn’t appear that either the store or vendor are willing to help. Photos attached show the product as it arrived out of the packing after being wiped own. On arrival we did try wiping and washing them but it’s the stained finish that is failing and oxidizing. Don’t buy these chairs unless you’re willing to re-stain them on arrival.

Look nice but falling apart after a week...
Bought two of these; even on sale they are pricey. At first glance they seem well made of an oiled teak-like wood with a nice grain and brass fittings, but quality of construction is not great. The pivot points are held together with "Chicago screws" which don''t work unless tightened fully. They weren''t and can''t be since most of the wooden members are too thick to allow this (Poor quality control?) In one place the assembler even had to miss out a nylon spacer washer to get the bolts to connect at all. Returning them will be a pain, (assume that replacements would be the same), and there is nothing else available locally, so I will either have to shave down the wood, recess the screws, or I will be forever tightening them. Some other screws seem to be made of plated steel rather than brass and I suspect they will rust, but too early to assess longevity. Did not buy the cushions as they were only available in unsuitable colours and made of cotton (not very practical for patio furniture - should be polyester in case they get wet). Lastly, they are only available online; it would have been nice to view them in the store before buying. Overall, we are underwhelmed...
