Beyond disappointed
I purchased this item a month ago. There were no reviews given and it was an online-only product. We set it up according to directions and following the first rainfall, the barrell remained empty. Realizing it was air locked, we drilled out a few holes in the screen to make them larger. Following the second rainfall, water filled the barrell but the next day the barrell was empty again- the bottom fitting was cracked and leaked. My husband fixed the problem and following the third rainfall the barrell filled up again, with no leak. However, now the back of it is all bowed out, like the plastic is not strong enough to hold it’s shape once the barrell is full. We have contacted RONA’s customer service and I was told I would receive an email with a mailing label for the product return plus contact from “their team” within two weeks about the situation, but I have not received any further communication from the company.
