Ray Padula AccuCast broadcast spreaders are great for applying fertilizer, seed, and other granular material across large areas. Precision designs with controlled outlets work by throwing material across a wide area. Because of the overlapping coverage area, broadcast spreaders provide a uniform coverage. Dores not work with salt or sand
This is probably a decent spreader for grass seed but it does not work with salt or sand. The agitators is too small so the salt clumps and does not flow out. Also after using it for 1 hour, the wheels locked up which stoped the rotor from turning. I returned this item.
