Achetées a Riviere Rouge. On vends ces planches de 5/4 avec une description de dimensions réelles de 1 1/4" x 6po ..Et bien non....! Ce ''5/4'' a en realité 1po x 5 1/2 , mechante difference sur la rigidité des planches. ... La reduflation ??... @Rona : De vendre un produit avec des dimensions qui differes de la realité et de ce qui est affiché sur votre site est de la fausse information... et je reste poli sur le terme utilisé.

I bought about 35 boards each of 8 and 12 foot. I figured I would go in and pick my own to avoid all the cracks, huge warps, blacks knots that have or about ready to fall out so that took a while I would say I would take 1 out of every 2 boards. Well, when I started installing the boards, turns out the 8 footers aren’t nearly as thick as the 12 footers, so, having a deck where the 12 and 8 alternates the deck is not flat but totally up and down. I am hoping the 12 footers shrink more since they were soaking wet while the 8 footers looked like old green preservative stock that was put in the brown preservative….because the green was leaching throughout the 8 footers. And then as I am installing, some boards are coming up short - the ones that were 1/4 inch short I could work with by pushing the 12 foot over but I had boards up to 1-1/2” short which would not even touch the joist so can’t use that. Well, the deck got done but is sure could have been a lot nicer to look at and walk on if the boards were the same dimensions and colour. Not impressed with the result but I didn’t have time to return it all and go shopping again the deck had to be completed.

Poor quality
Purchased and installed these deck boards a few weeks ago. After a week, the boards began to shrink leaving finger width gaps. I’ve used other products before, and never ran into this problem so soon. I also noticed inconsistent color and sizing. Won’t be buying or recommending this brand again.

3 examples of pressure treated wood
First purchase of pressure treated wood was great. Waited 15 min in my parking spot, got the product loaded and left. Wood was straight no cracks. 2nd purchase of PTW, complete opposite. Waited an hour for my product to come and be loaded. Called 3 times! Some of the wood was cracked and 2 were warped. Today, average. Waited 40 minutes. Guy beside me was waiting longer. Most of the wood was straight with one being cracked at the end.

Good quality product
After reading negative reviews about the quality of this product when delivered by the store, we decided to rent our own truck and pick out each of the 27 pieces ourselves. The quality was very good and we had no installation issues. The staff in the yard were very helpful and friendly. With Covid the wood was pricey.
