3M's Filtrete 20-in x 24-in x 1-in air filter captures airborne microparticles, including smoke and smog, as well as airborne allergens such as pollen, mould spores, and pet dander. It has a lifespan of 90 days, so you won't have to change it before 3 months. Plus, it boasts a 1000 Microparticle Performance Rating (MRP 1000). This product also meets the American Lung Association Health House Indoor Air Quality Guidelines. It even outperforms other 1-inch filters that have the same lifespan. This filter is free of unnecessary antimicrobial chemicals, which means that it's a safe-to-use product that will provide you with great air quality. The Filtrete filtering material prevent the growth of mould, bacteria, fungi, and mildew when used as indicated.

Prepare to be Amazed!
I purchased this filter a few days ago. Before installing this filter, my husband was sneezing very often everyday. We were so amazed the first day, he did not sneeze at all; everyday since, it has been the same. I know a person would have a hard time believing it could work so well and so fast, but it is absolutely true. Thank you for making such a wonderfully made product.

Excellent filters
Been buying these for several years now, 1085 or 1085D, and wouldn't go elsewhere. We change every 4 months and they're catching everything we need them to.

Great value for the money!
This does exactly what is says it will do. With all the wildfire smoke, I was worried but this did a great job. The 1085 can not be beat for the price. I don't have severe allergies or asthma so I can't say how it does against those.

Very good filter
I only need a filter for my AC — my heat is baseboard hot water — and these do a great job catching the dust and dirt and that seem to come from nowhere!

I have been using this particular brand and type of furnace filter for decades! It seems to do a fabulous job of catching the gunk out of the air that comes through the furnace system. Two thumbs up from me!
