Save yourself some time... buy another product
Sooo.... I built a fence with this using the 1x4x8 treated horizontally for a more modern look. If you need the wood to be presentable, prepare to spend a lot of time trying to find decent-looking boards. Because we started with this wood, we are stuck with it (no one else seems to carry this matching wood). About 60% or ore more of the wood they sell is visibly warped, damaged, and/or still has bark or some other visible flaw. The other 40% was "okay" enough to use for my purpose. Because of this, we have travelled to 4 different Rona's (probably 10-15hours of time) to sort and select enough usable pieces for my project. I would recommend to anyone starting a project like mine to use another product. That said, with all the work I have put into it, I am happy with the fence... but had I known in advance, I would have used another product for sure.

Low quality poor edges
It’s like they make these out of the thinnest possible tree and if they can’t quite make a full 1x4 that’s ok to them - a half rounded half squared piece of wood is good enough these days
