Description

Increase safety and reduce noise transmission with this CertainTeed gypsum board. Non-combustible materials create a core that resists fire. Moisture-resistant paper made of 100% recycled materials surrounds the core to help prevent mould. This moisture-resistant drywall provides fire ratings for three hours in shaft wall systems and for two hours in area-separation construction. Installation is easy thanks to the double-bevelled edges that allow you to seam tight joints with more ease than square edges. One panel measures 2 ft W x 8 ft L and has a reduced thickness of 1 in, which provides increased floor space. The Shaftliner M2Tech® sound attenuation drywall panel and core help reduce noise transfer between walls. Manually snap and score this board easily to reshape it to the size you need without extra tools. GREENGUARD Gold certification denotes that the panel is free of industry-identified chemical and VOC emissions and safe to use indoors.
