Description
With its high-torque 8-amp motor, this Kobalt electric tiller and cultivator powers through tough gardens and soil. It features separate 8.5 inches tines that provide a tilling depth of up to 5 inches and tilling width of up to 9 inches. Easy to use and operate, this electric tiller has forward-rotating tines for maneuverability, as well as an ergonomic soft-grip handle that provides you with comfort while you work. Backed by a 4-year limited warranty.

Toolproof from
Capable unit, given its size and amperage
Less powerful than some of the corded 12- and 13A models on the market, but has plenty of power for any application if you remove sod first. Nice and light so it's easy to use and transport. I wish Rona had told me I was getting a display model, as some of the connections to the handle and wheel assemblies had some obvious wear, but no complaints other than that.

Garbage
Bought it, got it home, unboxed and assembled it, plugged in - and nothing. Dead. Wouldnt even start. Tried repeatedly. Double and triple checked everything. Called the support/service number and got no help - put on hold for half an hour and never got back to us. Returned it to dealer. Garbage.
