Works well for cleaning comic covers
This item, like similar dry cleaning sponges, works well at removing dirt and grime from comic book covers (the intended use for my purchase). Doesn’t remove ink from the page (with gentle use). Bought on clearance, so definitely worth the money.

It works!
To my surprise this sponge worked very well. I will be buying another one to maintain low levels of soot on the front of my fireplace.
