Drill is a smoker
Disappointed where 10 minutes after taking the drill out of the package, spark flew out everywhere simply trying to drill concrete to set drive bolt anchors and then finished itself off to simply mix paint. Can brushes be replaced on this model???

Bought this because I needed a drill that would accept 1/2 inch bits for some large holes I was drilling through lumber. Weak performance caused me to buy Milwaukee which easily did the job. I used it over a year later for hammer drilling some holes in concrete. It burnt up after two holes. How do I find the mfg date? Guess I'm screwed. Stick with Milwaukee and Bosch if you want quality products to do the job.

Wouldnt Grip drill bit and overheated
i bought this to drill into concrete. it is not up to the job, it would not grip the drill bit at all even after tightening with the chuck key. would not recommend this product.

Hot knife through butter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works like a champ, made putting in a handrail real easy. My only quibble would be the front handle, doesn't feel extremely secure. Actually had it come off when I was drilling. Could of been my fault, maybe I didn't tighten it enough. Everything else is great, I would buy it again.

Worked well the first few times I used it but when I tried to drill some large holes in some concrete block it pretty much burned up. Ok for light jobs but not anything really heavy duty.

Almost caught on fire in my hand.
I just bought the drill and went to use it to mix some self-lever underlayment and literally with 2 minutes of use it started smoking really bad and started making crackling and sizzling noises. Not to mention is put off an awful burnt smell. What a waste of money.
