Do both the fan and compressor turn off once the set temperature has been reached? Or does the fan continue blowing when the set temperature is reached and the compressor turns off?

Not too bulky
We bought this for my moms tiny apartment and so far its wonderful. It doesnt take up too much space. It cools the room quickly. Its not whisper quiet but it isn't as loud as her previous 6 fans blasting away. We are having a heatwave here in the west so it is a godsend.It arrived quickly via courier with no issues.
